Annika Ridley started dancing at the age of 3 and has over 25 years experience in theatre and performing arts. Completing her full-time dance and musical theatre studies while in high school, Annika was trained in Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Contemporary/Lyrical/Modern, Pilates, Singing and Drama. Annika studied dance, drama and performing arts while in school and later at the University of Sydney. Annika grew up competing in dance and drama Eisteddfods where she, among winning many other awards, was the winner of the Best Director’s award for the 2008 drama competition ‘Fast and Fresh’.
Annika has worked under industry names including: Michelle Cuneo, Stuart Smith, Nikki Webster, Mario Panzic, Stephen Tannos, Katie Sanchez and Lauren Seymour, to name a few. Merits include: Live to Dance Eisteddfod since 2016, HSC Drama, lead role/principal dancer 2008 Rock Eisteddfod, Options Theatre Company 2010 – 2015, workshops with Sydney Dance Company and the Dream Dance Company. Annika is in her final year of studying a Bachelor of Teaching (Humanities) (Honours) in Drama and English.
