JB Dance’s Musical Theatre Program focuses on applying and bringing together the disciplines of singing, acting, and dancing.
The Musical Theatre Program strengthens these elements interpreting On and Off Broadway Productions both musically and dramatically, then creating staging and choreography for our Mid-Year and End of Year performances.
The Musical Theatre classes explore a diversity of rehearsal tools and techniques in pursuit of a dynamic and authentic performance. This is key in preparing for auditions for Musical Theatre Performances, whether in school, junior theatre companies or professionally. Our Musical Theatre Program is dedicated to teaching the skills needed to cultivate the singer-dancer-actor in an environment of sensitivity and concern for each individual’s needs.
This allows for students to unlock every new opportunity for training, performance and fun, whilst also based on the principal that all of the elements of theatre; Dance, Acting and Singing are necessary to develop the total performer.
