Kimberley began her training locally on Central Coast, in 2014 she then went onto train at The Mcdonald College in Sydney for 6 years, specializing in classical ballet. Under the guidance of Jane Kesby, Vicki Attard, Joshua Consandine, Jane Becket, Lindsay Ellman-Brown and Karina Pobereznic. During Kimberley’s time at The Mcdonald College she participated in Premier State Ballet’s productions of Coppélia, La Bayadere, Cinderella and Sleeping beauty.
Kimberley has also completed her Royal Academy of Dance Pre-Primary through to Advanced two, receiving a distinction in Advanced foundation. In 2019 Kimberley competed in the Alana Haines Awards in New Zealand, attended the European School of Ballet summer intensive in Paris, She was then awarded a scholarship to The National Ballet Academy of Denver in Colorado, under the direction of Cornell Callendar.
In 2020 Kimberley attended Transit Dance in Melbourne, completing her Diploma in Dance and Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management. During Kimberley’s time at Transit she performed in shows of ‘Quirk’ [Paul Malek], ‘Scattered earth’ [Lachlan Hall], ‘Veiled wild’ [Ashley Mclellan], ‘Seven deadly sins/Pride’ [Bradley Chatfield/Angelica Menta] and ‘Emphimal existence’ [Kayla Douglas].
Kimberley adores teaching and finds great satisfaction out of sharing her knowledge of dance with students, she loves seeing her students thrive in a creative environment and those who are eager to learn. Kimberley has successfully put students through Royal Academy of Dance exams with outstanding results and is excited to continue to share and pass on her passion for dance.
