MISS CHARLIE
Charlie started dancing at 2 years old and joined JB Dance when she was 8 with Miss Jessie as her teacher.
Charlie trained in the JB senior elite team for 5 years and is proficient and talented in many styles such as ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, tap and acrobatics.
Charlie has competed at 3 national championships as part of her team and as a solo dancer, winning team national titles and placing at each event. She has also competed with Milk Dance Studios as a member of ‘Lush Dance Crew’ and ‘Spilt Milk’ at various regional and national hip hop championships such as HHI, placing in the top 10 varsity crews in Australia in 2021. In 2023, Charlie was a featured dancer in Gosford Musical Society’s production of Frozen Junior and has also been seen in their production of A Christmas Carol. Also in 2023, she danced at the NRL Grand Final as a part of the TINA musical’s pre game performance.
She is currently training at ED5 International to complete her advanced diploma in performing arts and is being mentored by industry professional William A Forsythe. Charlie has a passion for choreographing and creating and has hopes to one day work for the world’s leading choreographers in various shows along Broadway and on the West End.
